A Four Day Intensive for Amateur and Professional Singers

This four day intensive is for those that can sing who want to go beyond their boundariesto create, develop and pursue a singing voice full of freedom, ease, increased range & quality with a fabulous ear in a fun, encouraging environment.

The Develop your Confident Voice intensive is about more than just learning vocal techniques, say you sing better and off you go. In these four days you will not only expand on existing skills and learn new skills, you will have personal and group time to really understand how to use these techniques. The enrolment is kept to only 15 for this reason.

We will record your singing when you arrive and then again when you leave. You will be amazed at the progress these four days will have on your singing. Its not important to sing a certain way or style. You may develop your unique sound within solid foundations of vocal techniques. Come away knowing how to use your voice, rather than saying…. hmm ‘how do I do this again’ from memory.

Group and Individual time allotted to expand on each participants experience, learning, skill & style.

The Singing Intensive includes:

• Body awareness, strengthening, alignment
• Relaxation techniques
• Breathing enhancement
• Firmly ground &/or expand upon vocal foundations
• Ear/Pitch development
• Individual & Group vocal tuition
• Voice production
• Vocal technique: classical & modern
• Range, tone & style
• Embellishments, phrasing
• Vocal freedom

Light Lunch and Refreshments Included.

Age 14 to 99 are welcome.

Please note when attending that we will be working with the voice and the body. Participants recorded at the beginning of the intensive and at the end illustrating their growth and fabulous voice. Wear loose, easy moving closing.

To ensure quality participation intensive is limited to 15 persons.

Enrollment Pre-requisit

Prerequisite to Attending the Singing Intensive

• Need to be able to hold a tune and remain in melody throughout a 2 minute song or vocalize.
• Direct training with a vocal coaching &/or choir is not necessary.
• All applicants are to upload a sample of their singing, vocalizations or vocal quality, if this is not possible you may contact Confident Voice to arrange a time for a internet or telephone singing  audition.
• **The sample of your singing is only to aid Cilica in hear your voice before you attend.  The sample will not be shared with anyone.
• Open to all styles and types of voices: alto, tenor, etc.
